Mark as Useful as soon as answered, a long loud beep came from the other end. Instead of hanging up, I waited for the tone to end. It went for 27 seconds and then the other line hung up.

Mark as Useful I doubt that this is the National Park Conservation Association. As this is not shown as their phone number on their web site or other places. It is Probably a finder for credit cards or like.
